This week, November 11-15, 2019, ongoing work and availability for new engagements are not yet at full capacity in this year of moving and restructuring my office and practice. The large number of email and phone communications I have received are being addressed and/or returned in order of receipt, with non-negotiable deadlines and any urgencies for existing clients, then clients with non-urgent work in progress being given priority. **NOTE: current clients, please place your requests for phone or in-person meetings during the available times noted on my calendar above.

Overall, progress toward completing work and closing the files that accompanied me in the move of my office continues to be made. As this is occurring, I am also excited to continue the work of developing my firm's case management and client communication system, which includes tools for collecting, organizing, communicating about, and maintaining client life and legacy planning information. Some of these tools have undergone significant updates lately, and the changes, once implemented, will offer some great opportunities for designing and maintaining client plans.

My deepest thanks and gratitude for your patience during this time of re-establishing my comprehensive life and legacy planning practice. I invite you to stay tuned for news of how this is taking shape, and I look forward to being in touch with you in the near future.

While you don't need to go to law school, memorize the Internal Revenue Code, or be certified as an expert financial planner to start or maintain your estate plan, a good understanding of the tools that make up your plan and the "Why" behind them can be helpful.
